Job Description:

We are seeking a graduate with a passion for working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to join our dedicated team at EdEx Education Recruitment Careers. As a Primary Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and personal development of students with SEN.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to class teachers within the classroom to ensure a smooth learning environment
  • Assist children with SEN needs 1:1 and in small groups to promote their academic and social growth
  • Work closely with students who require additional support, including those who are non-verbal
  • Support pupils in and out of lessons to ensure their needs are met
  • Monitor and record interventions to track student progress

Requirements:

  • Graduate with a passion for working with children with SEN
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of SEN policies and procedures
