Position Overview: We are currently in search of an interim Consumer Insights Project Coordinator to collaborate with our esteemed global FMCG client, recognized for its iconic brands. This role is essential in navigating the dynamic landscape of the fast-paced FMCG sector.
Employment Details: This is a full-time temporary position for a duration of 6 months, requiring a commitment of 37.5 hours per week, from Monday to Friday. The compensation for this role is competitive, ranging from £24,800 to £27,000 per annum, pro rata, based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Fragrance Consumer Technical Insight (CTI) work-stream as a vital member of the core project Fragrance Capability team.
- Maximize data utilization to uncover fragrance insights.
- Exhibit a natural curiosity to analyze and connect data, translating consumer desires into actionable technical standards for our Research and Development teams.
- Coordinate technical and consumer testing, engaging with various category teams and testing agencies.
- Manage data effectively, particularly focusing on test results data.
- Aggregate diverse data sources to create impactful visuals that facilitate insight generation from underlying data.
- Collaborate within a cross-functional team, advocating for the consumer by translating research inquiries into robust CTI testing.
- Assist the CTI Manager in the Testing Programme, ensuring insights resonate within the Fragrance community.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute qualitative, quantitative, and technical testing, leveraging both internal capabilities and external partners as necessary.
- Compile data from cross-category Fragrance Testing.
- Uphold the highest ethical standards in research management, ensuring the protection of consumer personal and sensitive data.
- Possess a foundational understanding of data principles to facilitate data cleaning, transformation, and structuring for visualization and statistical analysis.
- Analyze, interpret, and report test data to a high standard, including actionable recommendations to support the development of superior fragrances.
- Present data in an engaging manner tailored to the audience, providing detailed debriefs to technical teams and senior stakeholders as required.
- Support the Data Analyst and contribute to the digital transformation of consumer data by collaborating with internal partners to identify, develop, and implement processes and tools for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Psychology, Market Research, Statistics, or relevant experience in a consumer research role.
- Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, either from academic or industry experience.
- Strong data analysis skills with the ability to connect various data sources, recognizing insights and communicating them effectively across teams.
- An interest in or experience with statistical software such as Compusense, JMP, or SAS is desirable.
