Art and Design Educator

Location: Middlesbrough

Pay Rate: £120 - £180 per day

Your Role:

  • Develop and deliver engaging art and design lessons that cater to diverse student needs.
  • Nurture students' artistic skills and encourage exploration of various mediums and techniques.
  • Maintain a positive classroom environment that supports learning and creativity.
  • Engage students through innovative teaching methods and interactive projects.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the art curriculum and contribute to school events.

Requirements:

  • Experience teaching Art and Design, along with a strong portfolio of work.
  • Passion for art education and commitment to fostering creativity in students.
  • Effective communication skills to engage with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their artistic potential.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) certification required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver art and design lessons that meet curriculum requirements.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Develop and implement art programs that cater to diverse student needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the art curriculum.
  • Contribute to school events and activities that promote art education.
