About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrician to join our fantastic repairs and maintenance team at Home Group. As a Multiskilled Electrician, you will carry out high-quality, right-first-time maintenance across our responsive and void properties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out electrical repairs, installation, testing, and inspection in our properties across the North East.
  • Deliver high-quality and compliant work, ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to improve first-time fixes and prevent multiple visits to customers' homes.
  • Use your own initiative and judgement to diagnose and repair electrical faults effectively.
  • Participate in our out-of-hours service on a rota basis, receiving an additional generous on-call payment of up to £525 per full week.

Requirements

  • City and Guilds NVQ Level 3 in electrical installation or equivalent.
  • Qualified to 18th edition IET wiring regulations, electrical inspection and testing 2391 and AM2 or equivalent.
  • Experience in electrical repairs, installation, testing, and inspection within housing.
  • Fault finding experience and an excellent knowledge to ensure electrical faults are diagnosed and repaired effectively.
  • Experience in other building trade areas (multi-skilled).
  • A flexible approach, able to use your own initiative and judgement.
