About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Pharmacy Support Worker to join our team at Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust. As a Pharmacy Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support to our pharmacy team, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of medicines to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and dispensing of medicines, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Support the pharmacy team in maintaining accurate records and inventory management.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, carers, and healthcare professionals.
  • Work collaboratively with the pharmacy team to achieve high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • GCSE Grade C or above in English, Mathematics, and Science.
  • Experience of working with the public and in a healthcare setting.
  • Good communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Basic IT skills and ability to learn new systems.
