Job Title: Supply Chain Assistant

Join Ace Aquatec, an award-winning aquaculture technology company, as a Supply Chain Assistant. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to support our Supply Chain team in managing import and export shipments, purchasing, and logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and manage import and export shipments, including customs clearance instructions and freight forwarding.
  • Provide purchasing support through vendor order management and monitoring of the live vendor order book.
  • Organize and oversee the shipment of order consignments to domestic and international locations.
  • Obtain shipping quotations and advise the team on timelines and cost estimates.
  • Manage and maintain key freight forwarder accounts, monitoring service levels and pricing.
  • Ensure customs compliance and accuracy in shipping documentation.
  • Resolve issues related to new customs regulations and update shipping documentation accordingly.
  • Manage urgent requirements for equipment and prioritize volume of requests across the business.
  • Update shipping history log to enable self-service with estimated freight costs.
  • Coordinate the return of assets on trials and follow up with site contacts as required.
  • Monitor activity levels to meet trading demands of the business.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an import/export environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and data management software.
