Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Field Service Engineer to join our team, covering the South West region. As a Senior Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of service and repair on all cleaning equipment, ensuring the delivery of a world-class service experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a high standard of service and repair on all cleaning equipment, ensuring the delivery of a world-class service experience.
- Regularly communicate with the Regional Service Manager to ensure seamless operations.
- Maintain, accurately diagnose, and repair the full range of industrial cleaning equipment, including municipal cleaning equipment.
- Complete documentation of work orders promptly on Oneview FS365, ensuring accurate records are created.
- Control van stocks in accordance with customer base, ensuring a 5% difference is adhered to during all stock takes.
- Effectively communicate daily with the regional scheduler to assist operations.
- Identify and communicate sales leads to relevant sales personnel.
- Promote healthy relationships with customers and the One Professional Team.
- Maintain tools and equipment to a satisfactory and safe condition.
- Participate in on-job coaching with the Regional Manager, ensuring a personal development plan is relevant.
- Elevate duties in the absence of the Regional Manager, if required.
- Attend reactive weekend on-call work orders, as required.
Requirements
- 3 GCSEs at Grade 4, or equivalent, including English and Maths.
- Formal mechanical/electrical qualifications.
- Proven experience in the service and/or cleaning industry, or willingness to fast-track through training.
- Fantastic communication skills, with the ability to work well in a team.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Able to improvise and be conversant with customers.
- Experience with electronics, batteries, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical, and diesel engines.
- Full UK driving licence essential.
- Willingness to travel and stay overnight, if required.
- Some training will take place in Europe, so ideally a passport is required.
