Electronics Engineer - Technical Support

We are seeking a skilled Electronics Engineer to provide technical support to our Product Companies, Service Technology Centres, Customer Centres, and Divisions for all Semicon and Industrial Vacuum products / E-Parts designed by our Eastbourne Product Company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical advice and testing of replacement parts to cover component obsolescence or supply issues for all E-Parts designed by our Eastbourne Product Company.
  • Carry out compliance testing to EN Standards (e.g. EMC and Electrical Safety) for existing products and update NRTL compliance listings (UL /CSA).

Requirements:

  • Electrical and Electronic Engineering degree or equivalent.
  • Strong working knowledge in a similar role with exposure to a broad range of digital and analogue circuit types – small signal to power electronics (minimum of three years' experience in a similar role).
  • Electronic Engineering background, including knowledge of circuit diagrams and the ability to identify the function of various types of analogue and digital circuit components.
  • Broad electronics knowledge including microcontrollers, embedded software, digital and analogue circuits, serial communications, power electronics, switch mode power supplies.
