Position Overview
The Assistant Theatre Operations Manager serves as the primary support for the Theatre Manager, ensuring the delivery of safe and high-quality patient care. This role is pivotal in establishing effective safety and governance frameworks that uphold clinical standards, while also ensuring that both administrative and clinical systems are optimized to enhance the patient experience.
The individual in this position will maintain a prominent, approachable, and professional presence within the clinical setting, serving as a resource for staff, patients, and their families.
Key Responsibilities
We seek a candidate who can inspire and lead the peri-operative clinical teams and staff within their designated areas of responsibility.
The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in team engagement, demonstrating a commitment to achieving the highest standards of safety and quality. They will be able to showcase successful change management initiatives that positively impact patient experiences and safety outcomes.
Collaboration across multidisciplinary teams is essential, fostering a culture of learning derived from both qualitative and quantitative data.

We are a specialized NHS facility dedicated to providing transformative reconstructive surgery, burns treatment, and rehabilitation services throughout the South of England and beyond.
