Job Title: HGV Class 1 Driver

Proman UK, acting as an Employment Business, is currently recruiting experienced Class 1 HGV/LGV C+E Drivers on behalf of our national client, who has an operating depot in Leeds LS27.

Job Role:

As a Class 1 HGV/LGV C+E Driver, you will be responsible for making bulk collections and deliveries between various sites and customers nationwide. Deliveries and collections may involve trailer swaps or having your trailer live unloaded and reloaded, depending on individual customer needs.

Working Hours:

Shifts commence between 12:00 and 20:00, with an average length of 10 hours. Flexibility is required.

Pay Rates:

We offer competitive pay rates, including:

  • Midweek: STD - £19.38 (£ holiday accrual), OT after 8hrs - £26.26 (£ holiday accrual)
  • Saturday: STD - £24.67 (£ holiday accrual), OT after 8hrs - £26.26 (£ holiday accrual)
  • Sunday: £27.38 (£24.44+ holiday accrual)
  • Bank Holiday: £36.15 (£ holiday accrual)

Rates will increase after 12 weeks.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A valid Class 1/C+E Licence
  • No more than 6 points (no DD/DR/TT or IN endorsements)
  • Valid Tacho and CPC cards
  • Minimum 12 months of ongoing work experience, with tachograph history reflecting this experience
  • No more than 12 current points for infringements on card
