Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join our team at Appoint Healthcare, a leading national provider of health and social care services for young people and adults with mental health needs and learning disabilities.

About the Role

As a qualified Mental Health Nurse (RMN), you will be responsible for ensuring the high-quality care of 18-25-year-olds in our specialist Mental Health hospital, which provides treatment for patients experiencing an acute mental health crisis. You will also support your colleagues and promote positive teamwork.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care to patients with mental health needs
  • Support and supervise junior staff members
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve patient-centered outcomes
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the continuous improvement of services
Requirements
  • A relevant nursing qualification (RMN)
  • A valid NMC registration with no restrictions or referrals
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK
  • A minimum of 6 months mental health experience as a nurse, in the UK
  • Strong team-working skills
  • A high level of self-motivation and a flexible approach
  • A positive attitude and be naturally caring and compassionate
  • A commitment to high-quality care and to values and evidence-based practice
