We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Director to join our team at Assembly. As a key member of our Data, Technology & Business Consulting discipline, you will be responsible for consolidating technical knowledge to develop consistent processes across the agency.
The Business Intelligence function is responsible for managing data collection, analysis, insight, and tech solutions for our digital marketing clients. In this role, you will oversee the integration of a client's technology stack into our own systems and processes, working closely with activation, client, and consultancy teams to ensure data is being correctly utilized across reporting, analysis, forecasting, and planning.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement data visualizations and UX design concepts to effectively communicate insights to stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs, objectives, and pain points, and help them make data-driven business decisions.
- Work closely with our Data Solutions team to ingest and model data, collecting requirements from across the user base and converting them into data requirements.
- Develop and present complex analysis to senior client stakeholders, including insights from reporting data and optimization opportunities.
- Act as a point of escalation to solve reporting issues and work with internal teams to identify insights from reporting data.
- Carry out regular research into broader industry trends and competitor analysis to uncover key insights that could drive performance growth.
- Deliver training sessions to multiple client stakeholders and the wider Assembly business.
- Manage, mentor, and motivate direct reports to encourage their professional development while providing hands-on, daily supervision and guidance.

Requirements- Excellent knowledge of common marketing analytics tools (i.e., Google Analytics 4, Adobe Analytics).
- Experience in the digital marketing industry with an understanding of channel-based activation (PPC, SEO, Display / Programmatic, Social, etc.).
- Experience within a BI role or a role utilizing strong analytical and technical skills.
- Good understanding of Data Visualization and UX design concepts.
- Strong storytelling via PowerPoint using data & insights.
- Experience analyzing and understanding business insights with the ability to develop and present clear and insightful reports to stakeholders.
- Experience with data visualization and dashboarding tools such as Tableau, Datorama & PowerBI.
- Experience using SQL and relational databases.
