Job Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Processing incoming Purchase Orders
  • Receiving stock deliveries and notifying relevant team members when materials arrive for projects
  • Ordering necessary components for tasks
  • Managing the procurement of parts based on recently accepted quotations
  • Handling incoming phone inquiries
  • Following up on customer quotations in collaboration with service colleagues
  • Coordinating with team members to conduct inventory assessments of storage and engineer vehicles
  • Contacting customers as needed, working with colleagues to determine if engineer visits are necessary
  • Creating job orders for engineers and updating customer records
  • Assisting with monthly invoicing
  • Collaborating with service desk colleagues to facilitate customer communication and schedule work


This role will emphasize customer interaction while managing inventory flow to support the Service Team, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.


Candidate Profile:
  • Proficient in general IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong and clear communication skills, both verbal and written
  • A friendly demeanor with excellent interpersonal abilities
  • Willingness to learn and a keen interest in office and inventory management
  • Prior administrative experience is essential
  • Experience with customer record management systems and job planning is advantageous but not mandatory
  • Comprehensive training in procedures and industry-specific software will be provided

Compensation & Benefits:
* Salary range of £25,000-£26,000 per annum, depending on experience.
