Job Summary:

Collins Aerospace is seeking a highly skilled Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Level III specialist to join our Quality organization. As a member of our Special Process team, you will be responsible for developing and improving NDT and joining processes, ensuring compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain NDT - FPI & X-Ray customer and NADCAP accreditations
  • Lead internal audits and facilitate 2nd and 3rd Party audits
  • Manage and support the implementation of robust corrective and preventative actions
  • Develop and approve NDT techniques/data cards
  • Develop and maintain NDT personnel training and qualifications
  • Support Quality Clinic and investigations to ensure Right First Time NDT
  • Provide guidance and data-driven feedback to operational areas
  • Maintain and control all aspects of NDT equipment and calibration requirements
  • Own and review internal NDT specifications for compliance
  • Support production NDT activities

Requirements:

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instruction
  • Strong teamwork and individual work skills
  • NDT Level III certification to EN4179
  • Responsible Level III ASNT Level III in FPI & X-Ray
  • Approved Supplier Level III (e.g. Rolls Royce/Pratt & Whitney in FPI)
  • Extensive knowledge of the Aerospace Industry and expertise in Aerospace systems, products, and procedures
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Previous knowledge of welding/joining processes
