Senior Maintenance Engineer

Sierra 57 Consult Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Senior Maintenance Engineer to join their team. As a key member of the maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our injection moulding manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the maintenance team to ensure all machinery is properly maintained and serviced to minimize downtime and ensure safe operation.
  • Develop and implement planned maintenance schedules to optimize production efficiency.
  • Conduct regular safety checks and perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures.
  • Collaborate with the production team to identify and resolve maintenance-related issues.
  • Provide technical support and expertise to projects requiring engineering input.
Requirements:
  • Apprentice-trained with a relevant qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Previous experience working with injection moulding machines and automation systems.
  • Strong knowledge of PLCs, robotics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electronic/electrical automation controls.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing techniques such as OEE, 5S, and Kaizen.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
