Safety Engineer Subcontractor Opportunity

RGF Staffing UK Limited is seeking a highly skilled Safety Engineer Subcontractor to join our team on an initial 12-month contract. The role will be split between working onsite and working from home, with the base site located in either Bristol or Stevenage, depending on your preference.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver safety analysis to enable the integration of one of our existing products onto a new platform.
  • Work closely with internal MBDA delivery teams, external prime contractors, and customers to define safety boundaries and develop safety management plans.
  • Conduct hazard identification exercises, hazard management, and risk analysis, including fault tree and event tree analyses.
  • Construct safety arguments and contribute to ALARP statements.
  • Provide support to internal and external project safety panels and committees.
  • Assist in the management and integration of safety activities with system engineering and design programs.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable knowledge of UK and International system engineering processes, particularly in safety-related systems and safety assessment processes.
  • Thorough understanding and experience of hazard analysis integration with system engineering processes.
  • Ability to deliver supporting information, including safety case reports, hazard analysis, and functional failure analysis.
  • Detailed electronic engineering experience is highly desirable, with a degree or HND level or comparable experience preferred.
  • Good verbal, written communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Track record as an effective team player with strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
