Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Health and Safety Specialist to join our team at First Recruitment Group. As a key member of our Safety and Environment team, you will provide HSE regulatory compliance advice across various projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop HSE Plans and Philosophies: Create comprehensive HSE plans and philosophies to ensure project safety.
  • Attend Safety Workshops: Participate in HAZID/ENVID, HAZOP, SIL workshops to identify and mitigate potential safety risks.
  • Safety Action Management: Manage and sign off on safety actions to ensure timely completion.
  • Liaise with Clients and Stakeholders: Engage with clients and external stakeholders to ensure project safety and compliance.
  • Project Discipline Leadership (PDL): Lead UK projects, ensuring the timely issuance of deliverables to support project schedules.

Requirements

  • Extensive Experience: Proven experience in energy projects, particularly in oil and gas design.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Ability to work independently and in teams to produce high-quality deliverables on time.
  • Technical Expertise: Skilled in developing HSE plans and philosophies, with experience in SIMOPS, ALARP demonstration, and safety cases.
  • Qualifications: A relevant degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
