About the Role

Kibble, a leading provider of services for at-risk children and young people, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child and Youth Care Worker to join our team.

This is a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable young people, providing them with a sense of safety, connectedness, and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, working closely with the young person, their family, and our multidisciplinary team to achieve social and educational targets.
  • Provide direct care and support to young people, promoting their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
  • Collaborate with external agencies, such as social work and education, to ensure a cohesive and effective approach to supporting the young person.
  • Conduct regular reviews and assessments to monitor progress, making adjustments to care plans as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of the young person's progress, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • HNC in Social Care or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience working with children and young people, preferably in a residential setting.
  • Ability to work unsupervised, using initiative and sound judgment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with young people, families, and colleagues.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies, including child protection and safeguarding.
