Our Technology & Cyber Risk Assurance Practice

Our Technology & Cyber Risk Assurance (TRA) practice provides technology risk and assurance services to a wide range of financial services organizations. We help our clients navigate the rapidly evolving regulatory landscape, technological advancements, and consumer expectations.

Job Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior or Principal Consultant to join our TRA practice. As a key member of our team, you will work on delivering high-quality, on-budget, and timely financial services technology risk assurance and advisory work.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver quality TRA audits to budget and within agreed timescales.
  • Apply RSM's methodology and premium quality requirements in delivering audit work.
  • Develop relationships with financial services clients and identify further opportunities for business development.
  • Monitor and report on KPIs for your portfolio/client commitments based on defined delivery protocol and other MI.
  • Support the overall team in continued product and services development.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and advisory contact to internal and external stakeholders on technology and regulatory matters.
  • Supervise and coach auditors on assignments.
  • Onboard new team members to ensure consistency in the team delivering technology risk assurance and advisory services.
Requirements
  • CISA qualified.
  • Robust IT audit experience within the financial services sector and UK regulatory environment.
  • Proven ability to produce quality documentation and reporting.
  • Experience of managing multiple clients/assignments.
  • Ability to travel to clients.
  • Excellent financial services technical and regulatory knowledge.
  • Passion and enthusiasm to learn and stay abreast of regulatory developments impacting technology and financial services.
  • Ability to readily adapt new regulatory knowledge to assurance and advisory work.
  • Experience of coaching and supervision.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Able to manage your time effectively to complete work within budget and achieve deadlines.
  • Confident with excellent written, oral communication, and presentation skills.
  • Able to work autonomously, pro-actively, and effectively with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
