  • Utilize 3E software for ledger management, documentation, inquiries, and scheduling.
  • Collaborate frequently with various teams within the Finance division.
  • Participate in regular discussions with management to review collections, escalations, and any challenging issues.
  • Follow the established collection procedures of the firm.
  • Comprehend and manage the requirements of the Partners effectively.
  • Ensure that cash collection objectives are achieved.
  • Exhibit confidence in problem-solving and seek resolutions before escalating issues.
  • Handle sensitive information in compliance with the firm's data protection protocols.
  • Gather and rectify invoice data while ensuring existing data is accurate.
  • Work with accounts to exchange information for data integrity.
  • Coordinate with the Sales Ledger Team to guarantee accurate allocations.
  • Assess all debts to determine which matters require write-off or escalation.
  • Employ Excel for data sorting, analysis, and presentation, including pivot tables and V lookups.
  • Occasional travel may be required for meetings.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Demonstrated experience in credit control, including query management.
  • Proven success in minimizing debt within a fast-paced collections environment.
  • Previous experience in legal or professional services is highly advantageous.
  • Familiarity with 3E or comparable accounting systems.
  • A resilient individual capable of managing challenging communications and meetings.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to devise innovative solutions to complex challenges.
  • Strong communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to handle substantial workloads effectively.
  • A collaborative team player who can also work independently.
  • Proficient in IT with a quick adaptability to new systems.
  • Flexible with a positive attitude towards challenges.
  • Competent in numeracy, spelling, and grammar.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to compose clear and thorough communications.
