Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fire Fighter to join our team at Marshall. As a Fire Fighter, you will be responsible for providing a safe and effective rescue and firefighter service to those in need.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to a variety of incidents, including aircraft-related emergencies and first aid calls.
- Maintain a high standard of competence by participating in a comprehensive on-station training program and attending regular training sessions.
- Assist with routine testing and inspections of fire service equipment and appliances.
- Provide evidence of personal training records and maintain station administration documents for regulatory inspections.
- Assist disabled passengers or patients transported by air ambulance.
- Conduct educational visits from schools, scouts, and other groups to explain the purpose of our service.
- Undertake aircraft marshalling and other ramp duties.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, airport policies, and procedures.
Requirements:
- Working knowledge of IT and regulatory requirements, including UK (EU) 139/2014 and CAP 168.
- High standard of numerical and literacy skills.
- Full UK driving license and Fire Service Certificate of Competency.
- Previous fire service experience and airport experience in other areas.
- LGQ qualified and first aid qualified.
- IT skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to successfully complete enhanced security checks.
- Physically fit and able to maintain a prescribed physical standard.
- Ability to work early and late shifts, including unsociable hours.
