Electrical Maintenance Engineer Job Description

A fantastic opportunity to work for a top Facilities Maintenance company who are recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Shift Engineer to cover a static site in Portsmouth. This is a permanent position paying a salary of up to £36,000 per annum, plus a shift allowance of over £3,000.

The role of an Electrical Maintenance Engineer is to carry out the servicing and reactive repairs to electrical services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair faults on electrical and building services (L8, AHU maintenance, fire alarms, lighting testing, lighting repairs etc).
  • Carry out routine maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of electrical systems.
Requirements:
  • Experience in electrical building services.
  • Able to travel to Portsmouth.
  • At least one of: City & Guilds 236 Parts A & B, NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Maintenance, B Tech Level 3 Electrical Apprenticeship or 17th / 18th Edition.
  • Able to pass a DBS Check.
