Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer with expertise in Field Service or Maintenance to join our dedicated team at a leading production facility.

Role Responsibilities:
This position involves a dynamic mix of scheduled and reactive maintenance tasks, ensuring that no two days are alike. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting 75% reactive maintenance and 25% planned maintenance.
  • Providing specialized support for maintenance and repair challenges.
  • Inspecting machinery and components, performing necessary repairs or replacements.
  • Managing small-scale projects to enhance operational efficiency.

Compensation and Benefits:
Basic Salary: Up to £45,000
Benefits Include:

  • 24 days of holiday plus bank holidays, with additional days accrued based on service.
  • Pension contributions.
  • Opportunities for overtime.
  • Cycle to work scheme.

Location:
This role is based in a central location, easily accessible from various surrounding areas.

Preferred Qualifications:
While formal qualifications such as BTEC, C&G, or NVQ Level 3 are advantageous, we value practical experience highly. Ideal candidates will have:

  • Experience in servicing and repairing a variety of production plant systems.
  • Familiarity with industrial plant systems, including boilers and compressors.
  • Strong problem-solving and fault-finding abilities.
