Job Title: Clinical Specialist Radiographer

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Specialist Radiographer to join our Outpatients team at Golders Green Outpatients Department & Elstree DTC, part of The Wellington Hospital.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced Radiographer to provide high-quality diagnostic radiography services to our patients. As a Clinical Specialist Radiographer, you will be responsible for rotating throughout all areas of the Outpatients department, providing a safe and effective radiology service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with Radiologists and Consultants to set up policies and protocols for all imaging and patient pathways
  • Identify improvements and oversee the implementation of such improvements as agreed with the line manager
  • Assist with patient bookings and administrative duties, ensuring verified radiologist reports are delivered in a timely manner
  • Assist with staff orientation and training
Requirements:
  • HCPC registration
  • Extensive MRI and/or CT experience gained post-graduation, ideally in the UK
  • DEXA experience desirable
  • High level of understanding with regards to clinical governance and protocols relating to MRI and/or CT and Plain Film scanning
