Join our team at The Sterling Choice as a Health and Safety Advisor and take on a challenging role that requires a proactive and driven individual to spearhead improvements across our large, modern manufacturing facility.
About the Role:We are seeking a highly autonomous and experienced Health & Safety professional to provide relevant expertise in regards to everything Safety, Health and Environmental, ensuring Legislation and Best Practice are adhered to, and then moving these systems forward through continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and encourage a Behavioural Safety culture towards Health, Safety and Environmental welfare of all colleagues
- Identify suitable and sufficient SHE training advice and recommend suitable training resource to achieve this
- Proactively develop and implement new policies and procedures
- Ensure Legislation and Best Practice are adhered to
We are looking for an existing Health & Safety Coordinator / H&S Advisor / HSE Officer, ideally holding a NEBOSH Certificate and having previous experience from within a fast paced and complex food industry. An understanding of ISO14001 and BRC accreditations would also be highly advantageous.
