Job Title: Engineering Supervisor/Shift Technical Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Supervisor to join our team at Wallram Group. As an Engineering Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing technical support and guidance to our engineering team, ensuring the smooth operation of our building services systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and guidance to the engineering team
  • Ensure the smooth operation of building services systems
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor and maintain systems
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
  • Manage and supervise a team of engineers and technicians
  • Develop and implement training programs for engineers and technicians
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards

Requirements:

  • Approved apprenticeship or equivalent experience in building services
  • Formal qualification in electrical, mechanical, or building services engineering
  • Experience as an end user of a building management system
  • Demonstrable experience of managing contractors and supervising staff
  • Intermediate computer literacy using Windows Office applications

Qualifications:

  • 17th Edition IEE: Wiring & Installation
  • C&G 236 Parts 1 and 2 or mechanical equivalent
  • Confidence and commitment to providing a high-quality, professional service
  • Adaptable and flexible in approach to work required

Working Hours: Flexible approach to work required, including working outside of normal hours as necessary.
