About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Derby. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems for our railway products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechanical systems for railway products
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure mechanical systems meet customer requirements
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for mechanical systems
  • Conduct design reviews and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
  • Work with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of mechanical components
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance mechanical system design and development
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in the railway industry
  • Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
