Ferrovial Construction seeks graduate Quantity Surveyors to support financial oversight on various major infrastructure initiatives.
The Ferrovial three-year graduate development program is tailored to enhance personal, professional, and technical competencies through a blended learning approach. You will work under the guidance of our Senior Quantity Surveyors.Your responsibilities will include managing tender inquiries, analyzing bids, and overseeing subcontractor procurement. You will also be accountable for several smaller accounts, allowing you to refine your financial acumen.
Key responsibilities include:
- Analyzing subcontractor valuations.
- Focusing on cost control in alignment with the company's financial systems.
- Liaising with procurement teams to ensure adherence to financial guidelines.
- Assisting in the preparation and monitoring of Applications/Final Accounts.
- Reviewing agreed sub-contract Applications/Accounts and managing documentation.
- Contributing to the promotion of Health and Safety in accordance with company policies.
- Upholding company values in all interactions with colleagues, clients, subcontractors, and external partners.
- Embracing and advocating for Ferrovial Construction's Vision and Values.
We are looking for graduates who possess:
- Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills.
- A degree or Master's in Quantity Surveying (related disciplines may be considered).
- A strong motivation to learn and contribute positively to the team and the Graduate program.
- Commercial awareness and a solid understanding of the industry, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
