Job Summary:- Support students in Key Stage 1 with their academic and personal development
- Assist teachers with lesson planning and delivery
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to students
- Help to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
As a Teaching Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting students with their learning, including reading, writing, and mathematics
- Assisting teachers with lesson planning and delivery, including preparing materials and resources
- Providing one-to-one and small group support to students, including running interventions and booster sessions
- Helping to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment, including supporting students with special educational needs and English as an additional language
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong academic background, including GCSEs, A Levels, and a degree (2:1 or above)
- Previous experience working in a child-related environment, including schools and nurseries
- A passionate, confident, and enthusiastic personality, with a commitment to supporting students and promoting their well-being
- An enhanced DBS check, or a willingness to undergo one
