Job Summary:

The Rochdale Council is seeking a dedicated and caring Before and After School Club Leader to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a creative program of educational and leisure activities that support the learning and developmental needs of children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a program of activities that meet the learning and developmental needs of children.
  • Ensure the provision meets Ofsted standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team to deliver the clubs objectives.
  • Promote and encourage parental involvement and maintain ongoing communication.
  • Manage staff working in the before and after school club.
  • Coordinate and direct activities to ensure a safe and engaging environment for children.

Requirements:

  • Ability to converse at ease with customers and service users and provide advice in accurate spoken English.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to the success of the club.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances.
