At Caterpillar, we're looking for a skilled Inventory Controller to join our team. As an Inventory Controller, you will play a critical role in controlling and validating inventory and stillages, understanding and resolving stock adjustments, and implementing corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Control and validate inventory and stillages
  • Understand and resolve stock adjustments
  • Implement corrective actions
  • Ship and receive parts, materials, equipment, and supplies
  • Verify the accuracy and conditions of items and conformance to shipping procedures
  • Construct boxes, crates, skids, frames, etc., for use in packaging or securing items for shipment
  • Train other employees as required
Requirements:
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and follow verbal instructions
  • Basic arithmetic calculations
  • Working knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures
  • Basic computer skills: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Teams
  • Good analytical and logistical thinking abilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of operational procedures and environments
  • Experience or understanding of inventory management and/or transactions
