Job Description

Job Overview

Tomlin Personnel Ltd is seeking a reliable and skilled HGV Class 1 driver to join our team on a regular ongoing basis. As a Class 1 driver, you will be responsible for making bulk collections and deliveries from our nationwide network of depots and major customers.

Licence Requirements

  • HGV Class 1 licence for 1 year with a solid work history during the previous 12 months
  • Up-to-date CPC for your Class 1
  • Up-to-date Digi card for your Class 1 (no infringements in the past 6 months)
  • Maximum 6 penalty points
  • No DD, DR, TT99, or IN10 penalty codes

Key Responsibilities

  • Have a positive attitude and a great work ethic
  • Be punctual
  • Present a smart appearance as you will be representing the company
  • Keep the vehicle clean and to a good standard
  • Have good communication skills, as you may be required to be contactable throughout the shift

Salary and Benefits

  • Saturdays: £20.00 per hour
  • Sundays: £20.00 per hour
