About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Urban Designer to join our team at Architypes Talent Ltd. As an Urban Designer, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our clients' urban environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and contribute to urban masterplans, regeneration projects, and public realm designs.
  • Collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams to design urban spaces that are functional, sustainable, and visually engaging.
  • Create high-quality drawings, diagrams, and visualizations to communicate design ideas and concepts.
  • Conduct site analysis, research, and community consultations to inform design solutions.
  • Ensure that designs meet local planning regulations, environmental goals, and project budgets.
  • Assist in the preparation of planning applications, design reports, and presentations for stakeholders.
  • Stay informed on the latest trends, policies, and technologies influencing urban design.
Requirements
  • Degree in Urban Design, Architecture, Planning, or a related field.
  • Strong passion for urban design, sustainability, and creating livable cities.
  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, GIS, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to express complex ideas clearly.
  • Experience working on urban design projects, with a strong understanding of urban planning principles.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Knowledge of local planning regulations and experience in the planning application process is a plus.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to project challenges.
