The Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our client, a reputable civil engineering contractor. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing project plans, including method statements, hazard risk assessments, and project management plans.
  • Monitoring contract performance and ensuring timely and profitable completion of contracts.
  • Coordinating design activities and managing relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Supervising and mentoring junior staff to ensure their career development and growth.
  • Assessing and engaging sub-contractors to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Relevant civil engineering qualifications (HND/HNC/BEng) or equivalent.
  • Temporary Works Coordinator certification and up-to-date SMSTS qualification.
  • Appropriate CSCS card and First Aid at work qualification.
  • Knowledge of NEC contracts and incorporated Institute of Civil Engineers (ICE) membership.
