Your Role
As a Property Transfer Specialist, your main responsibility will be to oversee and ensure the effective functioning of your conveyancing team, delivering exemplary service to clients. You will manage freehold, leasehold, shared ownership, and unregistered titles, handling both sale and purchase files. It is crucial to identify and resolve complex issues while achieving monthly billing objectives. Building and maintaining strong relationships with agents and other referrers is vital, as is acting on the directives of and reporting to Partners and the Head of Residential Conveyancing. Adherence to anti-money laundering regulations and maintaining high standards of file management are essential components of your role. You will continuously seek to enhance operational standards.
Essential Qualifications
- Educational Background: Ideally a qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or Chartered Legal Executive, though not mandatory.
- Professional Experience: A minimum of 2 years in a busy conveyancing environment, with at least 1 year managing a high-volume caseload.
- Technical Proficiency: Skilled in managing freehold, leasehold, shared ownership, sale, purchase, re-mortgage, and transfer of equity transactions from initiation to completion.
- Communication Skills: Excellent client care and communication abilities.
- Attention to Detail: High standards of literacy, numeracy, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Interpersonal Skills: A pleasant, adaptable, and cooperative demeanor.
- Organizational Skills: Strong time management and organizational abilities, with the capacity to remain composed under pressure.
- Team Collaboration: Willingness to support colleagues as needed.
