Senior Accounting Professional

**Accountancy Action** is seeking a highly skilled **Senior Accounts Assistant** to join their thriving finance team. As a registered charity, they require someone with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role to take on key responsibilities.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Conduct thorough bank reconciliations for multiple bank accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Process banking of cheques and prepare relevant journals for timely posting.
- Authorise, issue, and record credits/refunds promptly to maintain efficient financial operations.
- Process refunds via Barclaycard and prepare journals for refunds to be processed in the payment run.
- Raise sales invoices and input them manually onto the system for accurate tracking.
- Chase debtors for invoices raised to ensure timely payment.
- Allocate cash received promptly and accurately to maintain financial integrity.
- Process overseas transfers via online banking to facilitate international transactions.
**Requirements:**
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role.
- Strong accounting and financial management skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
