Position Summary:

We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Teacher to join a primary educational institution.

Your role will involve fostering a stimulating and supportive learning atmosphere for students, delivering exceptional educational experiences, and aiding their holistic development. This role demands excellent organisational capabilities, proficient classroom management skills, and a dedication to nurturing a passion for learning among young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement innovative and engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, tailored to the age and capabilities of the students.
  • Establish a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning, teamwork, and mutual respect.
  • Evaluate and track student progress, offering constructive feedback to encourage ongoing improvement.
  • Utilise effective classroom management techniques to uphold a disciplined and secure learning space.
  • Work collaboratively with fellow educators and school personnel to create and execute a unified curriculum that meets educational goals.
  • Maintain regular communication with parents/guardians regarding student development, behaviour, and any issues that may arise.
  • Engage in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional growth opportunities to refine teaching skills and remain informed about educational trends.
  • Keep precise and current student records, including attendance, grades, and assessments.
  • Adhere to school policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
  • Support the social and emotional growth of students, cultivating a positive classroom community.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in education or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching credential.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Primary Teacher, ideally in a similar temporary role.
  • Strong understanding of primary curriculum frameworks and educational best practices.
  • Exceptional classroom management abilities and the capacity to foster a positive learning environment.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues.
  • Highly organised, with the capability to plan and deliver impactful lessons.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to undertake a temporary role through a recruitment agency.
  • Proven commitment to ongoing professional development and staying abreast of educational advancements.
  • Successful completion of background checks and any other necessary screenings as required by the recruitment agency and the educational institution.
