CNC Programmer Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our team at a leading manufacturing company based near Downham Market. As a CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for writing, testing, and approving programs for individual door and frame sets, ensuring compliance with manufacturing schedules and production requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement programming solutions for CNC machines, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the Production Manager and Planner to prioritize and manage work schedules, ensuring programs are completed in advance of machining dates.
  • Test and validate new ironmongery programming, ensuring products meet manufacturer's instructions.
  • Save and organize programs for frames and doors, providing easy access for CNC operatives.
  • Act as a quality checkpoint, ensuring compliance requirements are met for each product.
  • Maintain ironmongery samples boxes, keeping project-specific products organized and accessible.
  • Assist the Project Management team with administrative tasks during available time.
