About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Psychiatrist to join our team as an Associate Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing expert psychiatric care to adult in-patient wards and local communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, create tailored treatment plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standard of mental healthcare.
  • Provide psychiatric and clinical leadership to the team, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans, addressing patients' biopsychosocial needs through outpatient contacts or multidisciplinary care programs.
  • Liaise with other agencies, involving families and carers in treatment planning with patient consent.
  • Participate in teaching, clinical audits, quality assurance programs, and clinical governance, ensuring patient, carer, staff, and community safety.
  • Conduct Mental Health Act work within appropriate governance frameworks, responding flexibly to changing service requirements.
