Just Construction Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Flat Roofing & Waterproofing Site Manager to join our team on a prestigious £2 million housing development project in the UK. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in flat roofing and waterproofing projects, coupled with a strong understanding of health and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of flat roofing and waterproofing works on the project, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Manage a team of skilled tradespeople and subcontractors, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
- Develop and implement comprehensive health and safety plans, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel.
- Liaise with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
- Resolve any issues or disputes that may arise, utilizing effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant building regulations and industry standards, maintaining a high level of professionalism and expertise.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience as a Flat Roofing & Waterproofing Site Manager on large-scale projects, with a strong understanding of flat roofing and waterproofing techniques and materials.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of skilled tradespeople and subcontractors.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
- A commitment to health and safety, with a proven track record of implementing and maintaining comprehensive health and safety plans.
- A valid CSCS card, demonstrating a high level of professionalism and expertise in the construction industry.
