Mobile School Crossing Patrol Officer

Essex County Council is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious individual to join our School Crossing Patrol Team as a Mobile School Crossing Patrol Officer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safe passage of children and vulnerable adults at designated crossing points.
  • Regularly assess the risks associated with operating at the crossing site to identify any potential problems.
  • Maintain uniform and equipment in good condition and request replacements as needed.

Requirements:

  • Access to a vehicle and business insurance for travel to and from crossing sites.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults.
