Position Overview:

We're seeking an experienced Python Backend Developer to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing APIs, handling integration work, and ensuring seamless end-to-end deployment of your code. This position requires expertise in both Python and.NET environments, so knowledge of both technologies is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and maintain high-performance APIs using Python, ensuring responsiveness and scalability.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members on integration tasks, ensuring seamless communication between systems.
  • Deploy your own code from development through to production, ensuring smooth deployment and minimal downtime.
  • Work with existing code written in.NET and integrate it with new Python services, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance.
  • Perform troubleshooting and debugging to optimize performance, ensuring the highest level of code quality.
  • Ensure code quality and participate in code reviews to maintain high development standards, driving continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and reliable solutions, meeting business objectives.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Strong experience with Python and building backend systems, particularly API development, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with.NET or knowledge sufficient to integrate and troubleshoot with existing.NET code, ensuring seamless integration.
  • Proven track record of deploying your own code in a production environment, with expertise in cloud deployment, CI/CD pipelines, and best practices for code versioning and review.
  • Experience with integration work, handling multiple systems, and ensuring smooth communication between them, with a focus on scalability and reliability.
