Management Accountant

Danny Sullivan Group is seeking a qualified Management Accountant to join their team in Walsall. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar work environment and be able to produce high-quality reports.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare accurate monthly management accounts and ensure integrity and compliance of accounting records.
- Liaise with Financial & Commercial Services Manager, Director of BCS, and business heads to support Credit Control and Cost Clerk functions.
- Reconcile revenue and costs with finance records, post month-end journals, and approve intercompany transactions.
- Manage Accounts Payable/Receivable, resolve aged invoices, and support cash collection.
- Evaluate customer creditworthiness and advise on terms, coordinate bank payments, receipts, and reconciliation.
- Review monthly figures with department managers, resolving queries and forecasting.
- Prepare capital expenditure business cases and analyse financial data.
- Provide financial data for R&D expenditure (RDEC) submission and produce weekly charge reports for regional business units.
- Resolve customer queries and complex financial issues, support regional businesses with financial matters, and support year-end audits.
- Challenge processes to drive continuous improvement and efficiencies, and provide cover for Credit Control and Cost Clerk functions.
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or Part-Qualified or qualified by experience.
- Experience in construction, plant hire, or sales and distribution.
- Ability to produce high-quality reports and manage successful reconciliations.
