Exciting Opportunity: SEN Behavioral Support Teaching Assistant

Join our team of dedicated professionals at Randstad Education as a SEN Behavioral Support Teaching Assistant. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting students aged 11-16 with special educational needs, including Autism and associated conditions.

About the Role

As a Behavioral Support Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with our experienced teaching team to provide both academic and vocational support to students. Your role will involve helping students excel in their educational and personal development, whether it's in the classroom, outdoors with Bushcraft, or in life skills activities.

In this highly specialised learning environment, you will provide essential support to students, helping them to manage sensory overload, anxiety, and transitions while working towards their personal and educational goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide tailored support to students in their learning, development, and progress across all areas of the curriculum.
  • Assist students with personal and educational goals, particularly those with profound and multiple learning difficulties.
  • Work collaboratively with the teaching team to develop and implement individualised learning plans.
  • Support students with their daily routines, including personal care and life skills activities.
