About the Role:

  • Conduct routine and scheduled maintenance on commercial gas systems to ensure optimal operation and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Diagnose and repair faults in gas systems and appliances, ensuring minimal downtime for our clients.
  • Perform regular safety inspections and risk assessments on commercial gas installations and appliances.
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing client concerns and explaining repairs and maintenance processes clearly and professionally.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with current health and safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of all work completed, including reports on inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Stay up to date with industry developments and attend training sessions as required to maintain and enhance skills.

Requirements:

  • Certification: Must hold relevant gas safe qualifications such as Gas Safe Registration and ACS Commercial Gas Qualifications (e.g., COCN1, CODNCO1, TPCP1).
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Commercial Gas Engineer.
  • Education: Relevant technical or vocational training in gas engineering.
  • Driving License: Valid UK driving license, as the role may require travel between sites.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience with commercial gas systems.
