PLUMBING & HEATING ENGINEER ROLE

Rapier Employment is seeking a skilled Plumbing and Heating Engineer to join their team. As a Heating Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating systems in domestic homes and businesses, as well as performing other plumbing duties as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair heating systems, including heat pumps, boilers, and radiators.
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance to identify potential issues or malfunctions.
  • Diagnose heating system problems and provide effective solutions.
  • Repair or replace faulty components or parts.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with other team members to complete projects within specified timelines.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Heating Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of heating systems.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals.
  • Knowledge of welding, carpentry, and plumbing is a plus.

Working Conditions:

  • Monday to Friday with some weekend on-call (additional payments for being on call)

Licence/Certification:

  • CSCS (preferred)
  • Driving Licence (essential)

Work Location: On the road

Contract Length: 12 weeks

Pay: £16.00-£33.00 per hour

Expected Hours: 40 – 50 per week
