Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Montessori Room Leader to join our team at Inspire Montessori. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the room, ensuring a high-quality learning environment, and providing exceptional care to our children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the daily operations of the room, including planning and implementing activities, supervising staff, and maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
  • Develop and implement curriculum plans that meet the needs of our children, aligning with Inspire Montessori's educational philosophy.
  • Collaborate with the management team to ensure the room's goals and objectives are met, and provide regular progress updates.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care and education.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with parents, carers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote the well-being and safety of our children and staff.
Requirements
  • Level 3 qualification in childcare or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a Montessori setting.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with parents, carers, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to work.
