Job Description: Data Analyst

We are seeking a talented Data Analyst to join our Central Services team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to provide actionable insights that drive informed decision-making across the organization.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Collect, process, and analyze data from various sources to support business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to deliver real-time insights.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and manipulate data for in-depth analysis.
  • Collaborate with different departments to understand their data needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Perform rigorous data validation and quality checks to ensure the accuracy and reliability of your analyses.
  • Present clear and concise reports and presentations to stakeholders, effectively communicating complex data findings.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to inform strategic decisions and drive continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to the implementation of best practices for data analytics within the organization.
  • Provide training and support to team members on data analytics tools and techniques.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Power BI and SQL, with a good understanding of DAX and PowerQuery.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including knowledge of formulas, Pivot Tables, PowerPivot, and PowerQuery.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information accurately and efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.
  • Experience with data visualization techniques and tools.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL processes is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing data issues.
