Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled Project Coordinator to become a vital part of our client's innovative team within the renewable energy sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the execution of the Super Grid Transformer project, ensuring all phases from design to installation are effectively managed.
  • Establish a culture of excellence in project execution.
  • Champion health, safety, environmental, quality, and security initiatives to position our client as a leader in the Hydros sector.
  • Develop and monitor the project budget, providing regular updates on actual versus projected expenses.
  • Ensure that the technical performance of contractors aligns with the project's stringent standards, confirming that all transformers meet specified criteria.
  • Manage contractual obligations and ensure adherence to established protocols and procedures.
  • Oversee compliance with project consent requirements.
  • Facilitate the transition from project to operational status, including training, documentation, and handover processes.
  • Encourage the growth and development of team members within established guidelines to foster a productive work environment.

Qualifications:

  • A relevant degree in Engineering, Law, Quantity Surveying, or equivalent extensive Programme Management experience.
  • A formal Project Management certification, such as membership in the Association of Project Management or a similar organization.
  • Proven experience in building strong relationships with contractors and internal stakeholders.
  • Senior management experience in an operational context.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of project management principles, including cost, time, and quality control.
  • Exceptional leadership capabilities, particularly in change management and coaching.
  • A successful history of delivering complex, multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret complex data effectively.
  • Adaptability to change and a continuous drive for performance improvement.

  • Ensure a smooth transition to operations, including comprehensive training and documentation.
