About the Role

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development is seeking a highly skilled Investment Associate to join its Funds Team. As an Investment Associate, you will play a key role in the origination, assessment, and execution of fund investments, with a focus on infrastructure, climate/energy transition, and real asset strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assume a proactive role in the execution and implementation of fund investments, including preparing internal approval documents and conducting due diligence.
  • Ensure timely completion of transaction milestones to a high quality.
  • Monitor a portfolio of signed commitments and assess consent, waiver, and amendment requests from fund managers.
  • Carry out other relevant tasks assigned by senior investment professionals.
  • Review and supervise the deliverables of junior team members.
  • Assist with marketing and business development efforts.
Requirements
  • Master's degree or Bachelor's degree with relevant professional experience and/or additional qualifications.
  • Developed analytical and numerical skills, logical reasoning, and ability to interpret data.
  • Self-motivated and passionate about investment strategies.
  • Attention to detail, ability to work accurately under pressure, and good communication skills.
  • Conscientious, reliable, flexible, and highly organized, with ability to prioritize and work independently.
  • Excellent command of professional business English and ability to converse and work in international environments.
  • Strong team player with ability to integrate in a small multi-national team.
